Peter Buckingham

Peter Buckingham BSc, GradDip (Market Modelling), CMC, CFE, FFCA, FIMC co-founded Spectrum Analysis Australia Pty Ltd on 21 June 1996 and is responsible for its growth and for securing the variety of large and small clients we enjoy.

He joined Spectrum Analysis full time in 1999 following extensive experience in the oil industry at Caltex Australia, in a multitude of roles. These included various levels of management and specialised work in Strategic Planning and Network Development. His experiences included Manager of Western Australia, Country Sales Manager in Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia and Property Manager for Victoria/Tasmania.

Peter has international experience working in the design and implementation of the sales prediction modelling for Caltex International, which went on to be used by Chevron and Texaco internationally.

Peter was awarded a Fellow of the Franchise Council of Australia (FCA) in 2007 and a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) in 2011.

Peter was awarded his Certified Management Consultant (CMC) of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) in 2010, his Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) of the Franchise Council of Australia (FCA) in 2015 and his Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) of the International Franchise Association (IFA) in 2015.

As well as managing the company, he still enjoys being an active participant in many projects, handling most of the specific site evaluations we are asked to perform for major retailers.

After hours, you can find Peter spending time with his family, at the gym (for a soft workout these days) or sailing couta boats at Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club (SSCBC).
