1. Spectrum Analysis – 30 Years Celebration
We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating 30 Years of Spectrum Analysis last Thursday! Check out the cake and our photos online at https://spectrumanalysis.com.au/blog/spectrum-analysis-30-years-celebration
2. International work – Data, Mapping and Strategic Planning Tools
We have been helping our customers with their overseas expansions and provided demographic information for various countries of interest, online mapping, territory planning and sales prediction models based on population, age, income and household data, competitor locations, and drive-time catchments – just as we do in Australia.
One recent job was for an Australian client that is part of an international business with 180 stores in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. We helped them develop strategic plans for expansion across the UK and built a sales prediction tool to assist in the ongoing assessment of current and proposed individual stores. Another long-term client has over 2,500 locations in over 60 countries, and we handle all of their territory planning and new market area identification.
If you are considering expanding, please call to discuss how we can assist you, especially if you want to replicate the modelling you have used in the Australian market as we have access to similar international data. 3. Mapping the Boom in Boutique Fitness
The wellness sector has reshaped how Australians work out, and where. The rise of boutique studios, HIIT franchises, reformer Pilates and 24/7 access gyms has turned fitness into a high-density, fast-moving market where the difference between a thriving location and an underperforming one often comes down to catchment, demographics and proximity to the right customers.
We have worked alongside some of the most ambitious operators in this space and helped franchise groups and independents understand exactly who lives in their trade area, how far members will realistically travel, and where the next site should go in Australia or overseas based on reliable local data.
Our site selection models score potential locations on demographics, competition and accessibility. Our territory plans protect franchisees from cannibalisation while maximising coverage. Our ongoing territory maintenance and mapping services support networks as they grow.
Whether you are opening your second studio or managing a multi-country rollout, Spectrum Analysis turns location data into confident, defensible decisions, so you can focus on filling classes rather than second-guessing your mapping. If your brand is scaling, let’s talk about where you should grow next. https://spectrumanalysis.com.au/services/corporate-retail-and-franchise

6. Sailing Success
I have been sailing as crew on the Couta Boat ‘Zephyr’ for many years – owned by Richard Martin (Club Captain of SSCBC), Kim and Michael Paynter. This year, the boat was awarded the Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club Division 1 Handicap Aggregate Champion for 2026!
